Collection: Settling Tanks

The use of a settling tank is an industry standard when it comes to achieving high levels of cleanliness in recirculating water. The purpose of the settling tank is to force all the solids in the water to settle on the bottom of the tank, using the over/under dual baffle concept with three or four settling chambers, while the clean water/compound is returned to the machine. This process not only dramatically increases the cleanliness of the water, but it can save on overall consumption of compound as well. The cleaning of the tank is easy. The operator empties the tank of standing water and manually scoops out the sediment, that's it. There are no filter bags or interchangeable parts. Custom built at Mikro Industrial Finishing.
